Zoark is an open library of animated 3D creatures built from their skeletons. Search what is already there, or describe a new species and Zoark builds it. It is free to use, and every specimen can be downloaded and remixed.
HOW IT WORKS
- Describe. Write about your creature in your own words. NVIDIA Nemotron reads it, checks that it really describes a creature, writes a full description you can edit, and works out which real animal its skeleton is closest to.
- Skeleton. The skeleton is rebuilt from anatomical data: bone lengths, joint centres, standing angles and joint ranges, each number tagged with where it came from.
- Motion. The skeleton is rigged and its movements are baked, then exported as a standard glTF (GLB) file.
- Body. Coming next: flesh grown around the bones so the outline follows the real animal.
OPEN
Every specimen gets an ARK id and can be downloaded as GLB, together with its skeleton and spec. Remixes change the numbers, never the original, and keep a link to where they came from. Formats and endpoints are on the Opensource page.

PRIVACY
Zoark never stores reference images: an image is sent to the model once, with the request, and then dropped. We keep your description, the spec and the model.
STATUS
Zoark is in active development. Some steps still run placeholder implementations; each specimen page lists which ones under BUILD.
